PROGRESS, CHANGE, RESISTANCE & LOVE

Today we celebrate Juneteenth, Emancipation Day coming to the state of Texas. This day symbolized the end of slavery and commemorates the reading of President Abraham Lincoln's Order#3 on June 19, 1865, which announced the freeing the slaves. The original order was given 2 1/2 years prior, but with progress and change, there is the chance of resistance, and it takes longer. Let us take a good look at history, let's not remove it, let's not erase it, but look at it with new eyes and new hearts, so that we can truly learn from it.

In these current days, we are witnessing and hearing of the frustration and anger emanating from racism, mistreatment and murder on the grounds of skin color. The voice of these racial tensions cause many to be uncomfortable with the sound. We encourage you, don't turn away, don't close your ears, listen for God's voice in the midst of the chaos of change; it is His still, small voice that we must tune in to. God can bring about such a move that we may be standing on the most Beautiful turn in history, as we live it out.

"All people are created equal" this is the mandate of our nation. Let us rise to this decree inspired by God through our founding fathers. Truly His Word can teach us how to unite, how to love beyond skin color and live in the Blessings of One Nation Under God.

If you're uncomfortable with the conversation, not knowing what to say, what to listen to, how to react, there is a solution: through Jesus we can ask, seek and know Truth. God is the Creator of each and every soul, whom He chooses to house in diverse and beautiful colors revealing the Abundance and Beauty of His Heart.

Our Heavenly Father will show You how to become part of the solution rather than perpetuating the problem. Destruction and violence are not the answer, giving voice to the need for change and listening is.

Hatred is not the answer, HIS LOVE IS...

Be part of the solution this Juneteenth <3

Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers and overwhelms all transgressions [forgiving and overlooking another’s faults]. Proverbs 10:12 AMP

Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness. Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. 1 John 2:9-10 NIV

Beyond all these things put on and wrap yourselves in [unselfish] love, which is the perfect bond of unity [for everything is bound together in agreement when each one seeks the best for others].Colossians 3:14 AMP
