When the busyness and stress of this present life clamors for our attention...
Selah- the Hebrew word so frequently used in the Psalms, to pause and reflect; to weigh.
Indeed, You have made my days a handbreadths, And my age is as nothing before You; Certainly every man at his best state is but a vapor. Selah Psalm 39:5 NKJV
Let us live in this place of pause and reflection, let us choose to weigh and gravitate to the Greatness of God and the Peace He has already provided. We must refuse the temporal stressors with their sense of urgency and pressure that push us past our own mental, emotional and physical limits!
The Holy Spirit highlighted undisturbedness, which is the place that He so wants us to grow into and live from... a place to pause and reflect, weighing the powerful finished work of Christ in us...
May grace (God’s unmerited favor) and spiritual peace [which means peace with God and harmony, unity, and undisturbedness] be yours from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Eph. 1:2 AMPC
